1st attacks for war Sat 10th Jan

Bhoys, before I post the targets, I wanted to clarify our stance as a clan towards fighting in the wars. Because we only fight once a week, we expect evrybody to use both their attacks and to use their best troops when attacking. That's it. You can attack bases that are already 3 starred and you will gain a loot bonus if we win and a smaller loot if we lose. But use your attacks, don't hide behind the excuse that we're going to lose so what's the point or there were no more viable targets for me to hit. By doing that you are disrespecting your clanmates who have already used both attacks.

I understand that dragons cost a lot of elixir but at th lvl8 and below, they are the most powerful and effective form of attacking so I expect our lower level guys to use full dragon attacks against the lower bases to guarantee 3 stars. Also the use of hogs and lvl6 balloons from the clan castle in conjunction with full drags can work well in getting rid of a final pesky air def that would otherwise systematically take out all your drags as they are mindlessly trying to destroy a guinness tank.

If for some reason you can't fight a particular war, please leave the clan on Friday before button is pushed then rejoin again afterwards (say why you're leaving otherwise you'll have everyone wonder what is happening!).

The other types of attack that seem to work well in the wars are

1. high level ballons with minions in behind (and maybe a lava dog to distract air defs).
2. high level hog attacks with well placed heal spells (and cc disposed of first!). don't overlap heal spells, they dont double up.
3. Gowipe (golem, wizard, pekka) attacks. These seem to work well at th9 and 10 if used properly
4. Gowiwi (golem, wizard, witch). Again more for higher levels bases.

Giants don't seem to fit anywhere in war strategy (apart from maybe low th7 and th6 bases which can be done with giants and healers), though I have seen the odd fantastic giant/wizard combos, but these are few and far between. What I'm trying to say is that it's worth sticking to these types of proven troop combos in the war and you can practice with other mixes of troops during the week.

Here's the first targets for tomorrow. I've gone back to including everyone in attacks. If there are any stars left behind, we can pick them up on our second attacks. I put my suggestions on some of the dragon bases.

30 - Pat Jr, Deano, Boshie, Sammy
29 - Pat Jr, Deano, Boshie, Sammy
28 - mick (all drags + 3 lightning)
27 - fifers (hogs)
26 - hound (all drags + 3 lightning. Lightning top left air def then send your lvl5 cc hogs at bottom right air def, then send drags to clean up)
25 - Tam (all drags + 3 lightning. Lightning the right air def, send lvl 5 cc hogs at bottom air def, then all drags at final air def)
24 - rydol (all drags + rage + big drag in cc. put drags in an L shape around lab. start with 1 drag at each end point, then rest around de tank and spell factory so the main bulk charge up the middle to the centre. use rage only when in range of air defs and dont overlap the rage spells, the dont double up)
23 - Danny (all drags + rage (maybe 1 heal for balloons) + balloons in cc)
22 - cookie (9 drags, 4 hogs  + lightning + hogs in cc, will chat tomorrow)
21 - Jaggy (all drags + rage, ballons in cc )
20 - Pat (all drags + rage (maybe 1 heal for balloons) + balloons in cc)
19 - brother
18 - stookie (hogs, get rid of cc first)
17 - mikey
16 - Euan
15 - jambo (still taking sweeties jambo, but from a slightly older kid!)

HH! Their top guy is called Scotland, let's just assume he's a hun!
